It’s been 4 years since we got an album from our very own Chase & Status. Tomorrow, the wait ends. To celebrate the release of the new project, were taking it back to their last project with one of my favourite cuts from it. With an Old Skool Garage vibe, “Blk & Blu” was released back in March 2014 and served as the fourth and final single off their “Brand New Machine” album. Check it out up top, and be sure to check the album out too. Pure dopeness.
As another week comes to an end, what better than some chilled out vibes! Happy Friday, World, and have a great weekend!
I’m know I posted this before, but I’m bringing it back for personal reasons. Lifted off their sophomore project, “Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge“, “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” was the lead single off the project and was released back in 2004. Enjoy it. I know I am.
Chilled vibes, perfect to round off the week. Happy Friday, World, and have a great weekend!
Why am I reposting this track? Simple. “Rick & Morty” season 3 has started (don’t deny it, you e been anticipating it too!), so the obvious thing to do was have a marathon! Anyway, hit “play” up top and enjoy the 1990 classic (again).
Kung Fu Kenny drops the visuals for his Rihanna-assisted cut. Peep the visuals for “LOYALTY.” up top.
J. Balvin and Willy William’s latest collabo serves as our #FGF record of the week. Give the track a spin up top, and let the infectious beat give you that “feel good” vibe. Happy Friday, World, and have a great weekend!
This hit my inbox a couple of hours ago, and it’s been on loop for a while now! Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to Freya. Hailing from our own backyard, the singer/songwriter delivers her debut single “Blame” for your listening pleasure. On the influence of the song, Freya had this to say;
“Blame” is about taking responsibility for the people we attract into our lives. The opening lyric “Everything I hate about you I am” summarises the sentiment of the song.
Give the track a spin up top, and stay tuned as we bring you more from this rising star.
A week ago today, the music world lost an incredible talent. A voice of a generation, and a huge part of my teenage years, Chester Bennington’s powerful vocals resonated within numerous teenagers. Since his passing last Thursday, Linkin Park’s back catalog has been on heavy rotation at home, at work, and everywhere in between. To celebrate his life, I’ve selected a personal favourite. “Leave Out All The Rest” served as the fifth and final single off the bands third project, “Minutes To Midnight“, and was released back in July 2008. Peep the visuals up top.
Rude Grl is the brainchild of Jenna Dickens and former La Roux member, Ben Langmaid. “That’s The Way It Is (Survival Of The Sickest)” is the duo’s debut single, and draws inspiration from late 80’s/early 90’s Electro Hip-Hop. With visuals to match the audio, peep the video up top, and keep it locked as we’ll be sure to bring you more from the duo in the future.
