Fabian Secon x 5iveBeatz – Until We Meet Again (EP)

After dropping the visuals to the lead single last week, our very own Fabian Secon and 5iveBeatz unleash their collaborative EP in its entirety. The four-track EP showcases the creative chemistry between the two, and the final product doesn’t disappoint. Fabian and 5iveBeatz co-wrote the EP alongside Fabian’s father – the Grammy Award-nominated, multiplatinum-selling songwriter and producer Lucas Secon (the son of American entrepreneur and Nat King Cole songwriter Paul Secon). Fabian explains how he and 5iveBeatz got together;

“5ive and I met online around January 2016. Having a mutual appreciation for each other’s talent, we started working instantly. The vibe was very natural, and we spent a few months experimenting. Our aim for “Until We Meet Again” was to fuse alternative R&B, Pop Rock and Trap elements to create a fresh, progressive body of work. The EP tells the story of a turbulent and troubled relationship, so there are dark emotions that run throughout.”

Adilson Evora – Student Of Life (The Prelude) EP

Dutch Hip-Hop artist Adilson Evora drops his long-awaited EP, “Student Of Life (The Prelude)“. Consisting of 4 tracks, check out the EP down below. Adilson had this to say about the EP;

Student Of Life will be a returning concept where i will showcase my journey in to becoming a better artist and person in general. Containing rare songs that wouldn’t make it on a project and would most likely only be heard through my speakers at home. S.O.L is about seeing beauty in rawness, perfection in imperfection and embracing flaws and valuing it as being part of the growth. As the year is about to end i present “Student Of Life (The Prelude)” as a warm up for the music and releases coming up in the new year.

  2. You Should Have Known
  3. Renegades
  4. Someday

Jords – Means To An Ends (album)

For those of you lucky enough to make the listening session this Wednesday (again, I’m sorry I missed it), you’ll have had the pleasure of listening to Jords’ “Means To An Ends” album in its entirety. Now the time has come for the rest of the World to give it a listen, and Jords, this is an incredible body of work.

I’ve worked with Jords since day one, and seen this guy evolve as an artist. Any change he’s made to his technique has worked in his favour, and I’m sure all you other day ones will agree with me on that. With features from Proton, Thea Gajic, Randy Valentine and  Galarga to name a few, listen to “Means To An Ends” below. It’s been a long time coming, homie, and it’s definitely been worth the wait.
