Throwback Thursdays presents: Dr. Dre x Snoop Dogg – Nuthin’ But A “G” Thang

In case you missed it (I highly doubt it though), on the latest episode of “The Pharmacy“, Dr. Dre made an announcement that no one expected to hear. Inspired by the upcoming “Straight Outta Compton” biopic, the Good Doctor had been hitting the studio and along with some familiar names (Ice Cube, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar to name a few), had created a full album for our listening pleasure. Entitled “Compton: A Soundtrack By Dr. Dre” the project is the third and final project by Dr. Dre, and is due out on August 9th (pre-order here). Not quite “Detox“, but who cares? The Good Doctor is back! To celebrate the comeback, here’s his first ever record as a solo artist, featuring long-time collaborator and friend, Snoop Dogg. “Nuthin’ But A “G” Thang” was released back in 1992 and is taken from his debut project of the same year, “The Chronic“. Peep the visuals to the classic up top, and don’t forget to pre-order you copy of “Compton“.
