Throwback Thursdays presents: The Game – Dreams

Ten years ago, Compton’s Jayceon Taylor, better known as The Game, released his highly-anticipated debut project, “The Documentary“. The project, arguably a classic, marked a comeback for West Coast Hip-Hop. With Hip-Hop titans Dr. Dre and 50 Cent as executive producers, the buzz surrounding the project and the reception afterwards was immense. Featuring the aforementioned artists, the project also featured Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, as well as fellow West Coast veterans Nate Dogg and Snoop Dogg. To mark the ten-year anniversary, the projects third single (and a personal favourite), “Dreams“, has been selected as our #TBT record this week. Peep the visuals for the Kanye West-produced joint up top, and if you haven’t heard the album already, be sure to grab a copy here.
